561 Roofers is an online roofing contractor directory serving Palm Beach County, Florida. We connect homeowners with licensed roofing contractors. We do not perform roofing work, and we do not act as a contractor, broker, or referral agent. We operate exclusively online with no physical office location.
2. Information We Collect
2a. Information You Provide Directly
Homeowners who submit a quote request through a contractor listing page provide: full name, phone number, email address, and a description of the roofing project. Submitting a quote request is voluntary.
Contractors who apply for a listing or purchase a subscription provide: business name, owner name, phone number, email address, Florida contractor license number, business address, and payment information. Payment information is processed directly by Stripe, Inc. and is never stored on our servers.
Contact form submissions through our /contact/ page collect: name, email address, phone number (optional), company name (optional), and a message.
2b. Information Collected Automatically
When you visit 561roofers.com, we automatically collect certain technical information through cookies and analytics tools, including: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URL, and device type. This information is collected through Google Analytics 4 and does not identify you personally.
2c. Information We Do Not Collect

Contractor accounts: We use contractor information to create and manage directory listings, process subscription payments through Stripe, deliver lead notifications by email through SendGrid, verify Florida contractor licenses against the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) database, and communicate account-related information.
Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve content and user experience. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify individual users.
Communication: We use email addresses provided through the contact form to respond to inquiries. We do not add contact form submissions to marketing lists without explicit consent.
4. Third-Party Services That Receive Your Data
We share data with the following third-party services as necessary to operate the site:
Stripe, Inc. processes all payment card transactions for contractor subscriptions. When you purchase a subscription, you enter your payment information directly into Stripe’s secure payment interface. We receive a transaction confirmation and subscription status from Stripe but never receive or store your full card number, CVV, or bank account details. SendGrid (Twilio Inc.) delivers transactional emails on our behalf, including lead notifications to contractors, welcome emails, and billing confirmations. SendGrid processes email addresses and message content as necessary to deliver these messages.
Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) collects anonymized usage data through cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Florida DBPR (State of Florida) We verify contractor license numbers against the public Florida DBPR database. This is a one-way lookup — we retrieve public license status data only. No personal information is transmitted to the DBPR.
We do not sell your personal information to any third party. We do not share personal information with advertisers.

Contractor account data is retained for the duration of the subscription and for up to 12 months after account termination to resolve any billing disputes or regulatory inquiries.
Analytics data is retained for 14 months as configured in Google Analytics 4.
Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months.
7. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. These measures include SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted through 561roofers.com, Stripe’s PCI-DSS compliant payment processing, and access controls limiting who can access personal data within our systems.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Florida Information Protection Act (FIPA)

Closing your account does not automatically delete historical transaction data, which we retain as required for financial recordkeeping.

10. Children’s Privacy
561roofers.com is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
